Steps on how to decide your marketing budget
Many marketers when building a strategy from the ground up are faced with this question: How should I decide how much budget to spend on marketing!? In order to answer this question well, you need to ask a few yourself:
- What channels will you use?
- Who would execute? Are these people already hired?
- Do you have an existing marketing strategy? Or would this be built from the ground up?
- Do you have an existing email database?
- Do you have a social media following?
- Do you have marketing tools in place?
These all impact budget significantly. So make sure before you respond with a number, you understand the true level of investment required to build a successful marketing strategy.
